((I got a scar, does that health refill right away?))
If so, I'll just pull it out alas! damage is: [QOzeNb_E1d6]
Being the last one out I believe will be tricky! I'll try not to disturb the crowbar as I skitter out.1d6

Jax: You lower the chain down, doing your best to deal with everything at the same time. Let's see a STR check!
Blerbles: The goblins cling to the chain, the walls, each other and Phykalla, slowing starting to pull the huge insensate woman out of the barrel.
Hurricane: No, you are still at 0 HP. If you wrench your leg out of the mouth of the creature, you have a 3-in-20 chance of dying. What do you do?

Jax is holding on just barely, with the considerable weight making the nightingale chain sing a thready melody.

If everyone and our stuff(including phykalla’s) is out I will work my way out last. I figure I can slip through a crack if need be. Otherwise I will try to help where I can.

Phykalla is heaved out of the barrel, still unconscious and dragging a whole bunch of weird tubes and pipes. She mumbles a little as the foul oily water hits her in the face. The rest of her gear is scooped up by various goblins and tossed out as well.
The floor-mouth opens it's mouth in preparation to bite down hard, and Hurricane barely manages to yank his leg out, losing a even more skin in the process. With everyone helping, he can scuttle out as well, but the crowbar is left behind, jammed in to keep the hatch from slamming shut. Even then, the hatch starts to bend closed...
Blerbles, it's just you and the floor-mouth now. It sees Phykalla being dragged out of the barrel, and lets out a shriek like a thwarted kettle. It opens it's mouth wide, and you can see a coil of red-hot razor-metal, it's tongue, start to protrude. If you turn your back to squirm out now, you'll be wide open... what do you do?

I pull out the iris lantern and start backing out then as the worm readies its attack I flick the switch and give it a glimpse of the something. Gonna use the distraction to squirm out.

The iris slides open and the SOMETHING is revealed, the floor-mouth lets out a garbled and horrified shriek. Squinting shut it's metal eyes, it flails it's tongue around blindly in your direction. The lashing band of metal catches the edge of the iris lantern, hooks and barbs latching into the frame. If you let go of the iris lantern right now, you'll be able to make a completely clean getaway. What do you do?

I am going to wrap myself around the nightingale chain and yell “pull me up” to my compatriots outside. I am going to pull the iris and something with me out the hatch then slam the door on its tongue which should be cooling from the water running on it. I am still on top of the bin where I was pushing up on the hatch which should put me pretty close to the hatch and somewhat shielded from the tongue.

We have spent two months down this hole. We climbed into the hatch to escape the water at the beginning of September.

((Time flies when you're having fun! Or something like that... :D ))
With a tremendous pull from Jax, Blerbles, the lantern and the tongue are all pulled out of the hole. The hatch swings shut on the tongue, and the tremendous shriek from below makes the water pulse and vibrate. The lantern swings around wildly, everyone needs to make a CHA check to avoid catching a glimpse of what is inside it.
The tremendous frame of Phykalla bobs in the current, and with the clang of the hatch closing, your mission has been a success! Are you going to high-tail it back to CB0?

I want to head back right away and with phykalla we can have her haul the box full of dungeon to the beholders lair so we can fill it full of treasure.

The iris lantern spins around on one corner, flashing everyone with a glimpse of the SOMETHING within. The impossible images within sear themselves into your mind, each of you accrue 1 Trauma as indescribable visions and, inexorably, impossible, described and inscribed behind your eyes.
Sloshing through the quagmire of the river that is just barely beginning to slow, you carry/drag Phykalla and her equipment down the stairs, around the lake, up the ladder (a real challenge) and finally through the metal box back into Cell Block Zero!
Jax: As you walk past the lake, your eyes catch- no, it's not something that you see per se. You look out into the lake, and feel something looking back. Watching you. Nothing else happens though, and the goblins shuffle you along irritatedly.
((Thread! Unless you're hanging around down in the box, next posts should be back in the CB0 thread. Congratulations everybody!))
