nickIt's bones. Bones and skulls, in a misshapen pile. Every single one of them charred black as soot. And all of them staring at you. What do you do?

Once I get here from the other thread, I will pick up a rock and throw it at the pile of bones. If nothing happens, I will shout out: "Hello?"

I start wading into the bones to see if there's treasure. I fear no anatomical feature!

The rock thrown by Jaxudyzad lands with a clatter, sending skulls scattering. The softly glowing green light flickers, stabilises, grows brighter, and there's another clatter as bones go flying. A glowing green skull has ascended out of the pile, and spins towards the two of you. There's a weird hissing sound that seems to come from everywhere and nowhere, and makes the hairs rise on the back of your neck. The glowing skull chatters it's jaw at you before clenching. There's a dull, rising tone as black lightning gathers within the hollow eye-sockets:
bzzzzzZZZZZZZZ...
What do the two of you do?

RUN AWAY

I prepare to dodge for the sweet, sweet saving throw. And I say:
"Hello? I'm sorry to disturb you. We meant no harm, we were just a bit spooked by the mountain of skulls, you see? Anyway, I wouldn't want us to start off on the wrong foot, so could we try again?"
"Good day to you! My name is Jaxudyzad, how are you?"

nickYou're out of there! Discretion is the better part of valour, and all that. red_kangarooThe skull stares directly at you, hears your genuine plea, and fires twin beams of crackling [NULL]-coloured energy at you! ([NULL] is the same colour you see when you press on your eyeballs, or hit your head really hard on something) Since you are clearly braced to dodge, you get to roll DEX to leap out of the way! Otherwise you would've been struck for 1d20 damage. If you roll less than 10, you get hit anyway. Let's see what happens!

"That's quite rude. I would have expected better from you."

I try to throw myself behind one of the large stone blocks. Then I use my mind powers to retaliate without the need to expose myself.

((Turns out you need to put quote marks around the dice roller))
Ouch!
You take 1d20 damage from the disintegration beam:

Unlucky! When you take 10 or more damage in a single round, you get to decide: do I roll around in pain for the next round (take 1d4 damage) or do I stand strong (take 1d8 damage).
Whatever amount you take, roll 1d20, if you roll equal or less than the damage you just took... bzzt.

I hide around the corner (or behind a stalagmite) and wait for the sounds of danger to stop.

You see Jaxudyzad fall, clutching a sizzling ashen wound, and you can hear the sound of the skull charging up another bolt of death. You could flee easily if you wished, you can see the exit from where you are.

((I don't suppose I have enough time to writhe for a round and then get out of dodge, do I? So I'll have to risk it.))
I turn my fall into an awkward roll and get my feet back under me, then sprint to the safety of the exit.
Taking d8 damage:
"[roll=1d8]"
Then rolling d20 to survive:
"[roll=1d20]"

Okay, turns out my phone doesn't like this dice roller. Could someone roll for me, please?

Are you both fleeing now?
And I think it’s [ r o l l = “ X d X “ ] , and if you swap to desktop mode you can use the dice button in the header“XdX”WzKM9Thv

Yes, I think we're both running for our lives.

The two of you flee, NULL-lasers shooting by overhead, scarring yet more slashes into the solid stone. Luckily Jaxudyzad was only clipped, otherwise you'd have a pretty nasty wound. The flesh is still tender, but seems to be completely cauterised. Where did you get hit?
The skull settles down again once you are out of the chamber, the pile of blackened bones glowing a fitful green.
What now?

((I tried it and when I use the same roll code in desktop and mobile versions, it only works in desktop. But I can just switch to desktop version for rolls.))

((Weird. It's an old plugin, it could well pre-date the mobile app!))
Are you going to return to Cell Block Zero, or keep exploring?

Once we are back at the crossroads, I carefully touch my head and examine the wound. The beam grazed my left temple, turning some skin, a bit of my ear and a lot of hair into dust. At least it's not bleeding. I collapse against the wall, trying to will my heart to stop beating so very fast. I'd like to rest to get some hp bask. "Hey," I turn to nick, "hello. I'm Jaxudyzad. Nice to meet you, I guess."

You'll need to roll an encounter check to recover HP, unless you want to stagger the rest of the way back to Cell Block Zero and have a good lie-down.
